Joan Miro Lucifer Lithograph

If you love New York and you love the arts; this original print from 1975 is just the ticket.  Original 1975 Joan Miró lithograph referenced in the Joan Miró catalogue raisonné with reference number (M. 1050). Also referenced with #86 in J. Corredor-Matheos, "Miro's Posters". From a limited 1975 edition of 5000 pieces (outside the numbered edition, avant la lettre, of 75 pieces). Dimensions of this lithograph: 21" w x 31.5" h. Published by Galerie Maeght and printed by Arte Paris on standard paper in 1975. Joan Miró made this lithograph for the presentation of the ballet Lucifer starring Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev with the Martha Graham dance Company, at the Uris Theater, New York (June 1975). The work we offer was acquired 35 years ago from the publisher and has been stored in a archival quality drawer. This is the original lithograph from 1975; not a later reproduction. This art work remains in pristine (mint) condition. It was never framed or matted before. It will be shipped rolled in a strong tube. We recommend to have it framed upon receipt with an acid-free matting to protect your investment. This Joan Miró print is getting harder and harder to find as the years go by.
