These unique modern lights really brighten up any space. A beautiful and original design from the 1960's. These beautiful luminous moon rock lighting stones were designed by the French designer André Cazenave for Atelier A circa 1969. André Cazenave was one of the leading designers of the French boutique design label and store Atelier A. Atelier A was an artistic showroom in Paris devoted to the redefinition of the utilitarian object. These fantastic luminous moon rock stones are a prime example. In the wake of a surge in industrial production, Atelier A released beautiful objects that were at the crossroads of luxury and accessibility. André Cazenave notably contributed luminary organic sculptures for the interior and exterior in the form of cubes, stones, pave, pyramids, corals, heads and Greek busts. At the Foire de Paris, he released his famous luminous moon rock stones for the glass house of Atelier A's "La Maison des quatre saisons". André Cazenave’s work epitomized the aesthetic design possibilities of industrial production.

André Cazenave's luminious stones are a beautiful and original design from the 1960's. André Cazenave's designed them in 1969 and they were released in 1975. Each luminious stone is handcrafted in fiberglass to make them appear like real stones! The internal light transforms these beautiful rock sculptures into ambient lamps. Both beautiful and modern, André Cazenave's luminous stone lamps give any space a natural warm atmosphere. Beautiful when lit and very relaxing to look at, even when not lit. Just imagine a waterfall on the background and a tranquil setting. Use indoors or outdoors. Each luminous stone uses one light bulb (not included).
