Minimal Modern Furniture: Softcrete Sofa

We love minimal modern furniture and this amazing concrete-styled modular sofa is certainly our cup of tea. Ross Lovegrove designed this minimal modern sofa for the Italian modern furniture company Gufram in 2005. It is now available in the US. This is a sectional sofa inspired by concrete blocks. It looks raw and cemented and would add a ton of character to any space. Made from cold shaped polyurethane foam. Painted to mimic concrete with Guflac paint. The Softcrete sectional sofa has an central chair, a corner chair and matching side table blocks, all sold separately. Each sofa chair connect into the other smoothly by steel rods. Thereby letting one create as large or small sectional sofa they may like.
