IBM and Piet Mondrian



Let's rewind the clock, just a bit, to 1964 when IBM released this minimalist computer masterpiece which was dubbed the IBM 360. A machine that is utterly brilliant, like a painting by Piet Mondrian with clean minimal lines.

No dress-down Friday, but dress-up every day.
You always look like you are on top and ahead of the game.
Just like the computer, you can control the universe.

Perhaps this entire room could fit in an iPod nowadays, but whenever we (up)grade to the next technology, we always leave a bit of ourselves behind, and can only reminisce of the great eye candy of yesteryear, ever fading, farther and farther away, until it is totally forgotten.
