Ultra Modern Minimalist Architecture in Portugal

Ultra modern architecture from Portugal. This beautiful house was designed by the architect team of Nuno Mateus and Jose Mateus from Portuguese architectural firm ARX. The house is located in Aldeia de Juso, Portugal. A roof top garden terrace provides a 360º view of the the sea and the beautiful mountains of Sintra. The architects aimed to notionally extend the house's horizon as it is situated on a very small piece of land. The design expands horizontally and vertically over three floors involving the exterior area within its habitable space blurring their boundaries. A minimal beautiful house that elaborately frames internal and external vistas adding an extra layer of detail to the seemingly austere exterior.
