Slave to the Rhythm
Grace Jones with Dolph Lundgren
Dolph Lundgren was Grace Jones's bodyguard in the early 1980s. The bodyguard-client relationship soon evolved into a steamy romance and a hard partying life style. The two of them were featured in a controversial issue of Playboy magazine, photographed by Helmut Newton. While living with Grace Jones in her New York City apartment, Dolph had a short stint as a model and bouncer at the Manhattan nightclub 'The Limelight'. Soon after Grace Jones got Dolph his first small debut role in the James Bond film A View to a Kill as a KGB henchman. Contrary to a popular rumor, there is no Grace/Dolph offspring...which is too bad since we love both Grace and Dolph.
