To create his monumental glass sculptures, Nicholas Elias takes the phasing techniques used by 1960s composer Steve Reich and applies them to an architectural context. A couple of years ago we consulted with Nicholas about the possibility of featuring his monumental glass sculpture titled 'A Symbolic Inscription of the Imaginary' in a sculpture garden in California.
